Who should join the Tarp
Association? The Tarp Association is open to companies who manufacture or supply material, equipment or services to the truck cover and tarpaulin industry. This includes truck cover and tarp fabricators, curtainsider manufacturers, and suppliers and distributors of fabric, hardware, and equipment related to the industry. If this is your industry, we are your trade association. To date, we represent more than 120 companies who have discovered the benefits of a Tarp Association membership.

Provide a vehicle for association members to promote their products and services.
Research has begun for the bi-annual Guide/Membership Diecrtory (if you are not a member and you are thinking about joining now is the time).

Conduct research into all fields of the industry on behalf of association members. Study and report on any matters of state and national legislation affecting the industry and represent the members before any legislative bodies.
Tarp Association will continue to research and monitor and distribute the Guide to Commercial Vehicle Covering and Cargo Control Laws. (

Direct the efforts of association members toward the use of materials and production methods, for greater efficiency and progressively better quality industrial textile products.
Tarp Association continues to look for new ways to help improve the industry.
Establish cooperative relations with all related organizations in matters and activities of mutual interest and benefit.
Network with similar organizations
Strive for continuous improvement in the quality of both production and maintenance of textile products for the benefit of all customers.
Advise all members of new and improved materials, methods and techniques designed to improve the quality of their work or the efficiency of their production.
